Course Description: The 13.1 mile scenic route winds through four Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James’s Park and The Green Park) in all their autumnal splendour. Runners also have the opportunity to take in magnificent views of the capital city and some of its historic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and the Royal Albert Hall.

Entry: The field is limited to 16,000 runners who are selected through a lottery that filled in one week. Runners from outside the UK can book hotel packages with a guaranteed entry through a select number of tour operators.
Weather: Temperatures can range from 55F-80F.
Run for Charity: Over the last five years, the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon has raised over £15m for more than 455 partner charities, including Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, Mind and Tommy’s. Participation in this highly sought-after event also helps the Royal Parks Foundation to support London’s national treasures - The Royal Parks - for everyone to enjoy, now and in the future.
Ultra (50K) Details: This event is designed for runners, not walkers. This run has been specifically designed to become an entry level ultra, encouraging runners to take their running to the next level. The 50KM route is fully supported, with fuel and water stations, plus plenty of people to cheer them on. (Minimum age is 18).
