Kelly Allen McLay
Sales and Marketing Manager
Kelly found Marathon Tours the day she finished her 5th Boston Marathon. Some might say she literally ran into us! With 11 years of professional experience in international group travel and a passion for running, she is a great addition to the Marathon Tours team. Her positive energy and sales skills have helped to develop our travel itineraries around the world.
Her spirit of adventure first led her to Australia for a semester abroad and she delayed her return to work as a travel guide on the Australian coast for a company specializing in surf tours. Since then Kelly has continued to explore the world guiding Marathon Tours’ runners on tours to six of the seven continents. She has completed 29 marathons, including seven Boston Marathons, and five of the six World Majors. In Antarctica she will be one marathon shy of the illustrious Seven Continents. In 2014, she is looking to improve her marathon PR of 3:38.
A graduate of Bowdoin College the alma mater of running legend Joan Benoit Samuelson, Kelly resides in Charlestown with her husband John and their dog Brutus, the official Marathon Tours mascot.
Kelly currently manages marathon trips for Boston, Easter Island, Outback, Dublin and the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.
Nicole is the newest and shortest member of the Marathon Tours team and joins us with eight years of professional experience in international and domestic group travel and flight management. From middle school age, she has had the travel bug and loved being on the road and exploring new places. With a year abroad and sometimes intentionally getting lost on a quaint cobblestone pathway in Belgium or Germany, it was the true history and beauty that struck a chord within her that keeps her travel passion alive still. She hopes to continue to expand her list of 17 countries visited to destinations such as Australia, Africa and simply...Hawaii! Nicole currently manages marathon trips to Reykjavik, Rome, Berlin, Costa Rica and Tokyo.
Ann has joined the Marathon Tours team after spending five years working as Group Sales Manager for a domestic tour operator specializing in train travel. Since her 7th grade world geography class, she has had an interest in learning about all the world has to offer. During her time majoring in geography at the University of New Hampshire, her love of travel really kicked into high gear after spending a semester abroad in Australia. Let's just stay it was love at first flight! With her new position she hopes to expand her knowledge of the world.
Since joining the Marathon Tours Team Ann has since completed the Rio Half Marathon and the Big Five Half Marathon! She has her eyes set on the Medoc Marathon next! Ann currently manages marathon trips to Bermuda, Chicago, Paris, Comrades Ultra Marathon, Two Oceans, Big Five, Medoc Marathon, and Rio in addition to being an Oceania Cruise Line Specialist.
