Kangaroo Island Marathon achieves 150% growth as Marathon Tours & Travel delivers first edition under new management<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) has successfully delivered the <\/strong><\/em>Kangaroo Island Marathon<\/em><\/strong><\/a> for the first time under its new management, with the event drawing runners from around the world, making a significant contribution to the local community and economy.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held on Sunday 24 August against the rugged coastal backdrop of Flinders Chase National Park, the 2025 edition of Kangaroo Island Marathon welcomed 191 runners across the marathon, half marathon and 10K distances, representing 12 countries. Numbers were up 150% on the previous year, with 10% of the field being made up of local runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to showcasing Kangaroo Island as a world-class running destination, Marathon Tours & Travel placed a strong emphasis on community partnerships<\/a> and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
