As the Official Travel Agency and Tour Operator of AbbottWMM, we have created packages specifically designed for those who have been selected in their drawing or for those who have secured their own entry and are on their Six Star Journey.
The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON race course is flat and fast with only a few corners. Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge smashed the world record at the 2022 BMW Berlin Marathon, running 2:01:09 to chop 30 seconds off his own record set in 2018 on the same course. The course also produced the first sub 2:20 marathon by a woman, Naoko Takahashi, in 2001. The race is also known for having ideal weather for running and is run on asphalt versus concrete.
We invite you to join our three-night package, which will allow you to focus on your training and leave the logistics to your Marathon Tours & Travel Team. Please note to book this package, you must have a confirmed entry to the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Should your travel companion wish to participate in the race with you, please reach out to check on the availability of our standard guaranteed entry.

Arrival day
Please note: Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before or depart on different days to the following itinerary. Arriving in the morning is recommended. If there is not a convenient flight to Berlin that has you arriving early, then we recommend you arrive on Thursday 24 September. Additional nights are available upon request for an additional charge.
Make your way to Berlin and on arrival check in to your hotel. Hotel rooms are usually ready after 14:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel concierge and explore the area. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
If you wish to visit the Expo independently, detailed directions will be provided with your final itinerary.
In the early evening we invite you to join your Marathon Tours & Travel team and fellow runners for a Welcome Reception with drinks. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own.
Saturday, September 26
Preparation Day & Dinner
At 07:30 we invite you to join Marathon Tours & Travel for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area and shake-out any travel tiredness. The run will be no more than 5km, easy and at a pace comfortable for all fitness levels. Supporters are very welcome to join too.
If you have entered the GENERALI 5K please make your own way to the start. To register and learn more about the GENERALI 5K visit the Berlin Marathon website.
Today we will take you by coach to visit the Marathon Expo and collect your bib number and any other extra items you may have pre-ordered. The Marathon Expo has plenty to see and do, so we suggest you allow time to collect your race documents, shop from the many exhibitors, listen to the experts and enjoy the pre-race vibe. Timings will be confirmed closer to the event.
Often restaurants are booked up early, but you do not need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you can join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race pasta dinner.

BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 & Celebrations
This is the day you have trained so hard for! Race Day! After an early breakfast, your Marathon Tours & Travel Host(s) will help escort you to the start line in plenty of time to get ready for your BMW BERLIN-MARATHON! Directions will also be provided for those who wish to make their own way.
From the Leonardo Royal, the runners‑only start area in front of the Reichstag is quick and easy to reach by public transport, with a journey time of around 20–25 minutes depending on the route. Runners can travel free of charge using their race bib and services are frequent and reliable. Our hosts will be on hand to help you choose the best route and timing and we’ll make sure you get to the start area smoothly and on time.
Family and friends can travel by public transport to support and spectate along the race route or join our team at a cheer point on the marathon route. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to advise.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, relax and gaze at your lovely new shiny medal…you worked hard for it!
This evening meet your Marathon Tours & Travel team, fellow runners and supporters to celebrate your achievement with a post-race celebration reception with drinks. More details will be advised on the final itinerary. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own.

BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026 with Marathon Tours & Travel
The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON attracts over 45,000 runners every year. This highly anticipated marathon attracts the best in the world, together with a mix of club and social runners. Cut-off time to run the course is 6 hours 15 minutes so you too can experience how it feels to run a legendary marathon on a world record course and become a Berlin legend!
The start and finish are both located in the Tiergarten on Straße des 17. Juni between Brandenburg Gate and Victory Column. The course is fast, characterised by flat, wide roads with several long straight sections and enthusiastic spectators cheering you through the streets of this historic city. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026 presents all runners with a great opportunity to aim at a new PB!

Drums, music bands and an endless stream of people calling your name will bring you home for the 6 hours 15 minutes cut off. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026 presents all runners with a great opportunity to aim at a new PB!
Race Time: from 09:15 in waves
Minimum Pace/Cut-off Time Policy: 6:15 hours after crossing the start timing mat.
Eligibility: Marathon Tours & Travel, an authorised tour operator, is required to offer travel arrangements in conjunction with guaranteed race entry. All runners must be 18 years or older on race day to be eligible for our guaranteed entries.

Berlin Marathon Extras: Please note the official BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026 T-Shirt is not included in the entry fee. Merchandise can be pre-purchased at the time of registration or at the Expo. Pre-ordered and pre-purchased event merchandise to be collected at the EXPO with your race materials.
Number Pickup: You must pick up your race bib and packet at the Registration & Expo prior to race day.
Temperature: Average temperatures range between 13C to 21C (55F to 70F).
Awards: Every finisher receives a medal. You do not receive a t-shirt with this event.

Eligibility: All runners must be 18 years or older on race day.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with a non-refundable deposit of 30% per person must be received before confirming your reservations. When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically, see your invoice or contact us to change your scheduled payment options.
Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features.
Travel advice: Before you travel, check the ‘Entry requirements’ for your destination based on your Passport Nationality.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare coverage, including coverage for existing medical conditions and any activities you plan to do.
Security Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.
