Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before or depart on different days to the following itinerary.
Paris is fascinating with plenty to see and do. The itinerary below reflects the 3 nights package. Adding extra nights is recommended and allows you more time to explore the city.
Arrival day, welcome drink
- Your stay will begin at Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile, where hotel rooms are ready to check in after 16:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings
- You are free to enjoy the city at your leisure today
- Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
- Join us for a drink; a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners
Saturday, April 11th 2026
Shakeout Run & Pasta dinner
- This morning join us for a light shakeout run for an easy run, no more than 5k around either the start or finish area. (approx 7:30am)
- Today enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us we will collect your race pack (includes bag, t-shirt & race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack
- Evening meal with the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious race pasta dinner.

Sunday, April 12th 2026
Race Day and celebrations!
- Pre-race breakfast available early
- Easy access to the Paris Marathon 2026 start area from Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile (approximately 20 minutes’ walk away from the hotel)
The spectator areas of the Paris Marathon 2026 route are easily accessible on foot or by Metro and the finish area is 15 minutes’ walk away, making it perfectly positioned for race day and to cheer on the runners.
- After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate…you deserve it!
- Tonight, we will gather in the hotel bar for a post-race celebration and drink!

Champagne is synonymous with celebration and the good life, and Champagne Tours are a non-stop celebration of great wine and food. Consider extending your package in Paris by one night to join us for a fabulous day of champagne tastings.
On your tour of Champagne, we will enjoy a tasting in Epernay where several prestigious Champagne Houses settled during the 19th century. Here we will learn the history of the men and women who created the Houses and built the grand reputation of “the richest avenue of the World.”
In the afternoon, we will make our way to Côte des Blancs and have lunch in one of the Grand Cru villages of this area while also receiving an intimate view of the complex and fascinating process of marking champagne. After lunch, we will stop for one last tasting at Champagne Dom Caudron before we head back to Paris. (Lunch included)

Paris Marathon 2026
Race Date: Sunday 12 April 2026
Start Times: From 08:15am to 10:50am (TBC)
Course (TBC): The start line of the Paris Marathon 2026 is on the famous Champs Elysees Avenue, in front of the Arc de Triomphe. Runners head towards and around Place De la Concorde before turning right into Rue de Rivoli. This section takes you past Hotel de Ville, Place de la Bastille and through a more residential area on the eastern edge of the city before you enter Bois de Vincennes park and see the Chateau de Vincennes. A wide loop of the Bois de Vincennes returns runners to the heart of the city and along the river Seine, past Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower before you enter the Bois de Boulogne park. 5km of the course takes you around the park before you finally and triumphantly finish in the wide and spacious Avenue Foch. In a nutshell, Paris in the spring, together with one of the biggest sightseeing marathons in the world is an incredible experience you won’t forget. Find course details and map here.

Starting Times and Bib Numbers: Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Paris Marathon 2026, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2026. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided.
Race Rules: Our website and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions. All race rules and procedures need to be followed.
Time Limits: The course time limit is six hours from the last participant crossing the start line.
Eligibility & Participation Conditions: To take part in this event, the participant must have been born in 2005 or earlier.
No medical certificate will be required in 2026 for foreign participants. The old medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is a requirement to follow in order to collect your race number.
Weather: Average temperatures range between 10C to 17C (50F to 63F).
Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative finisher t-shirt and upon finishing received a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

How to Book
To make your booking, click on the orange button at the top of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.
Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.
The cost of the event entry is non-refundable.

Guaranteed Entry
We are pleased to offer you guaranteed entry for the 2024 Paris Marathon. You can buy the entry at an additional cost if you also buy the accommodation package with us.
Starting Times and Bib Numbers

Minimum Age
To take part in the Event, you must be at least twenty (20) years old at the latest on 31 December 2023.
Medical Certificate
All runners must provide a medical certificate (this is a legal requirement for taking part in running and cycling events in France) stating that there is no medical indication that they cannot take part in a competitive running event. Medical certificates must be uploaded to the runner’s personal account before the event.
The certificate must be dated less than a year prior to the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athletics competition » or « sport in competition »).
When registering for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, you will have to use an existing, or create a new, online runner’s account.
Only if medical certificates have been uploaded to the runner’s account, can we deliver entries to the hotels. If your medical certificate has been refused or if you didn’t upload it, you will have to print it and bring it to the bib collection area at the Paris Marathon expo.
