The Abbott World Marathon Majors

The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) is a series consisting of seven of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world: Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America, TCS London Marathon, TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon.

1. Packages Including Guaranteed Entry

Between our global offices, we are an approved International Tour Operator for Tokyo, London, Sydney, Berlin, Chicago and New York City plus the two AbbottWMM candidacy races, Shanghai and Cape Town – offering guaranteed race entry as part of our travel packages. These packages are ideal for runners who are newer to running international races and/or in the early stages of their AbbottWMM journey. Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate Races:

Two marathons currently in the candidacy stage are the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and Shanghai Marathon. Should they pass and meet the credentials required to become an Abbott World Marathon Major, they will become the eighth and ninth majors in the series. As it stands, if the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon passes, it will join the series in 2026 and the Shanghai Marathon will join in 2027.
