The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) is a series consisting of eight of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world: Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America, TCS London Marathon, Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon.

As an Approved International Tour Operator for the majority of events within the AbbottWMM series, we’re proud to offer travel packages that include guaranteed race entry, making it easier for you to reach the start line of the world’s most iconic marathons.

Marathon Tours & Travel UK provides guaranteed entry to the following AbbottWMM events. Please note that entries must be purchased in addition to a travel package, unless otherwise stated.

Candidate Race

The final marathon currently in the candidacy stage is the Shanghai Marathon. Should they pass and meet the credentials required to become an Abbott World Marathon Major, they will become the ninth majors in the series. As it stands, if the Shanghai Marathon passes, it will join the series in 2027.
