What’s the difference between the Hotel-Only Option and the Premium Package?
The Hotel Program Option includes your stay at a central Cape Town hotel with breakfast, WiFi,
The Premium Package is a guided experience that includes 4 nights’ accommodation, a welcome desk to meet our team, pre-race dinner, transport to the start and from the finish (if chosen hotel is not walking distance), post-race celebrations, and support throughout your stay. Sightseeing tours and also international race entry are available as optional extras.
How close are the hotels to the start or finish line?
Most of our hotels are located in central Cape Town, with easy access to the Expo, Start and Finish line.
How do payments and cancellations work?
Full Payment is required to confirm your hotel of choice.
Cancellations before 28 February 2026, will be subject to a cancellation fee 80% of the total booking value. Cancellations between 1 March and arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee 100% of your total booking value.
Cancellations must be communicated to [email protected] in writing. the above conditions over ride the standard terms & conditions in relation to cancellations.
Is race entry included?
No. Our hotel packages are for runners or supporters who have already secured their race entry to the 2026 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon. We do not offer race entry with our hotel only offers. If you need a race entry, please book our premium package.
Am I able to request extra nights?
During the booking process you will be asked for your arrival date and departure date. Available hotels options will then be offered together with the prices. If your chosen hotel is not available for the requested nights please let us know. We will do our best to make them happen for you but we can’t guarantee them.
