If you are an Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championships (AGWC) Qualifier, then you have come to the right place! Your RISK-FREE* package registration does NOT include an entry since you have gained it through your qualifying time. All AGWC entries are determined and organized by the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) Team.
The fifth annual AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship race will occur within the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon and feature over 1,800 of the world’s best age group competitors. Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) is offering priority access to packages for AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship (AGWC) athletes and their companions to include hotel accommodations, special social events including a welcome reception, pre-race dinner and post-race celebration, VIP race day support and transfer to the start.
Our exclusive AGWC Package DOES NOT include a guaranteed entry and is available to anyone who achieved a qualifying time and secured their own AGWC entry. If your travel companion is also a runner, please ask about availability for a non-AGWC race entry (Limited availability).
This popular AbbottWMM race always promises to deliver a grand tour of New York! Starting on Staten Island and finishing in Central Park you will run through each of the five boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan. There were a total of 53,627 finishers at the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon making it the world’s largest marathon ever!

Welcome to New York City! Your Marathon Tours & Travel team look forward to meeting you upon your arrival. Our welcome desk will be open from this afternoon in the Westin Times Square lobby, the AbbottWMM MTT AGWC Headquarter Hotel. Once you check-in, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. We’ll look forward to seeing you this evening at our Welcome Reception. Details regarding the TCS New York City Marathon Health and Wellness Expo and bib pickup will be shared once available. (Welcome Reception included)
Saturday 1 November 2025
We start the day with an optional training shakeout run through Central Park (.8 miles from the Westin Times Square) to loosen your legs. For those interested, your MTT Host(s) will escort you by foot to the NYC Marathon Expo. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy and can include shopping, seeing a Broadway show, or simply relaxing. Our pre-race pasta dinner will begin at 6:00 PM with a short race briefing. (Dinner included)

TCS New York City Marathon Day!
Transfer to the start village and a box breakfast is included in your package. MTT Host(s) will be in the Westin Times Square lobby to assist you on to the bus. Following the race you will make your way back to your hotel on your own for some well-deserved rest before we gather for a celebration toast prior to the official AGWC Celebration Party. The evening is free to experience one of the many fine restaurants in the city. (Breakfast to-go box included)

Seven Continents Club® (SCC) Membership
AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Championship (AGWC) qualifiers and their guest(s) who book Marathon Tours & Travel’s (MTT) Official 2025 NYC Marathon AGWC Package will receive an SCC Membership. The SCC Membership registration window begins on 3 February 2025, after AGWC invitations have been emailed and recipients have confirmed their MTT travel packages. A registration link will be emailed to all applicable clients, which will remain active for 30 days. Thereafter, the complimentary membership will expire. If you are an existing SCC Member in lieu of a membership, you will receive an equivalent value credit to MTT’s online merchandise store, which will be redeemable beginning 3 February 2025. The credit to MTT’s online store will expire 30 days from its issue. SCC Memberships and MTT online store credit cannot be transferred to another person, nor can it be exchanged for monetary value.

Race Date: Sunday November 2 2025
Race Time: There are four wave starts for runners, preceded by professional wheelchair athletes, hand-cycles, and professional elite runners. Wave times will be available closer to the race date.

Organiser: The New York Road Runners (NYRR) is the organizer of the TCS New York City Marathon. For additional details on this event please click here.
Charitable Objective: The Official Charity Partners of the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will be added to the TCS New York City Marathon website when available.
Course: The TCS New York City Marathon is a 26.2-mile block party through the world’s most diverse city. It goes through the five boroughs of New York City: Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island.

Temperature: New York City’s average temperature for early November is a low of 42 and a high of 57. Be sure to check the weather forecast before packing to make sure you are prepared.
Guaranteed Entry Procedure: This package DOES NOT include a guaranteed entry. All runners must secure their AGWC entry.
Course Time Limit: In the interest of safety, and to allow streets and park drives to reopen as scheduled, the race course will remain open to all participants who are able to maintain a 13:45 per-mile pace (based on the time when the last runner crosses the start line).
Waiver: Every runner must sign the online NYRR Waiver. A link will be sent to all registered runners with a guaranteed entry from Marathon Tours & Travel.

Registration & Booking

Reservations and Payments: A completed trip application together with a deposit of $500 per person must be received before confirming your reservations. Final payment must be received by July 29, 2025.
Eligibility: All runners must secure their own AGWC Entry. This package DOES NOT include a guaranteed entry.
Cancellations: Should you book the 2025 TCS New York City AbbottWMM MTT AGWC Package and not secure an AGWC entry, then there is no risk to you. Your deposit may be credited to another MTT Package, credited to your account for future use, or refunded (less a 5% administration fee). All risk-free cancellations must be in writing and prior to January 31, 2025. Starting February 1, 2025, all payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year, or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under tour features.
Insurance: For your protection, trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is highly recommended for all participants. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.
Security Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.
