Please note: Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before or depart on different days to the following itinerary.
The itinerary below reflects the 3-nights package. Adding extra nights is recommended as this allows you the time to enjoy the city. Arriving later than Friday is not recommended.
Arrival Day
Make your own arrangements to arrive at your hotel in Berlin today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 15:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings, or use the free time to visit the Expo to collect your marathon bib and any other extra items you may have pre-ordered. Detailed directions will be provided in your final itinerary.
If you have entered the Generali 5K you will have to collect you race bib today.
The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available in your hotel this afternoon to meet and answer any questions you might have.

Race Preparation Day
At 07:00am we invite you to join Marathon Tours & Travel for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area, visit the marathon start/finish area and shake-out any travel tiredness. The run will be no more than 5km, easy and at a pace comfortable for all fitness levels. It’s a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners!
If you have entered the GENERALI 5K please make your own way to the start. To register and learn more about the GENERALI 5K visit the Berlin Marathon website.
This morning at 10:00am we will escort you to the Expo to collect your race registration pack. However, if you wish to make your own way there, in your own time, detailed directions will be provided in your final itinerary. Your race pack must be collected before the registration closes this evening. The rest of the day is at your leisure. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options.
The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
Often restaurants are booked up early, but if you are booked at one of the following hotels you do not need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race pasta dinner.

BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 & Celebrations
This is the day you have trained so hard for! After an early breakfast please get ready to leave the hotel for the race start in the Tiergarten. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available to assist you to the race. Our team will be happy to escort runners to the start area or you can follow the directions provided to make your own way, in your own time.
Distance to the runners only start area (front of the Reichstag):
From Intercity Hotel Hauptbahnhof: 10 minutes walk
From Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte: 15 minutes walk
From Scandic Hotel Potsdamer Platz: 25 minutes walk
Family and friends can travel by public transport to support and spectate along the race route or join our team at the Marathon Tours & Travel Cheer Point on the marathon route. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to advise.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, relax and gaze at your lovely new shiny medal…you worked hard for it!

Enter the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 with Marathon Tours & Travel
The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON attracts over 45,000 runners every year. This highly anticipated marathon attracts the best in the world, together with a mix of club and social runners. Cut-off time to run the course is 6 hours 15 minutes so you too can experience how it feels to run a legendary marathon on a world record course and become a Berlin legend!
The start and finish are both located in the Tiergarten on Straße des 17. Juni between Brandenburg Gate and Victory Column. The course is fast, characterised by flat, wide roads with several long straight sections and enthusiastic spectators cheering you through the streets of this historic city. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 presents all runners with a great opportunity to aim at a new PB!

Drums, music bands and an endless stream of people calling your name will bring you home for the 6 hours 15 minutes cut off. Race Time: from 09:15AM in waves
Minimum Pace/Cut-off Time Policy: 6:15 hours after crossing the Start timing mat.
Eligibility: Marathon Tours & Travel, an authorised tour operator, is required to offer travel arrangements in conjunction with guaranteed race entry. All runners must be 18 years or older on race day to be eligible for our guaranteed entries.

Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Race Rules and Terms of Participation
Our itinerary and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions. Starting Pens and Bib Numbers
Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided. This link will not be sent until closer to race day – please do not expect it immediately after booking – it will depend on when BMW BERLIN-MARATHON send the links to us.
