Make your own arrangements to arrive at YAC Hotel Paris Clichy today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 15:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings.
Saturday 12 April 2025
Race Bib Delivery
Today please enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us we will collect your race pack (includes bag, t-shirt & race bib) and deliver it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Race Day and check out
Breakfast will be available early. Those running the Paris Marathon 2025 will easily be able to travel to the race. The race start is approximately 30 minutes’ by Metro from YAC Paris Clichy to the Arc de Triomphe. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run, and have fun!
Unless you have booked extra nights, please check out of your room before leaving for the race this morning. Costs for extra nights can be given, or you can use our easy booking tool to select the extra nights.

Arrival Day, Welcome & Shake-out run
Make your own arrangements to arrive at Hotel Rochester Champs-Élysées today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 15:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings.
You are free to enjoy the city at your leisure.
Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
At 17:30pm we invite you to join your Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area and shake-out any travel tiredness. The run will be easy and at a pace comfortable for all fitness levels. Afterwards please join us for a drink; a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners.
Saturday 12 April 2025
Pasta dinner
Today please enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us we will collect your race pack (includes bag, t-shirt & race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options.
Often restaurants are booked up early, but you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race dinner.

Race Day and celebrations!
Breakfast will be available early. Those running the Paris Marathon 2025 will easily be able to walk to the start from Hotel Rochester Champs-Élysées. The race start line is approximately 5 minutes’ walk away from the hotel. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run, and have fun!
The spectator areas of the Paris Marathon 2025 route are easily accessible on foot or by Metro and the finish area is 20 minutes’ walk away, making it perfectly positioned for race day and to cheer on the runners.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate…you deserve it!
Tonight, we will gather in the hotel bar for a post-race celebration and drink!

The medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is a requirement to follow in order to collect your race number.

2025 Paris Marathon
Race Date: Sunday 13 April 2025
Start Times: From 08:15am to 10:50am (TBC)
Course (TBC): The start line of the Paris Marathon 2025 is on the famous Champs Elysees Avenue, in front of the Arc de Triomphe. Runners head towards and around Place De la Concorde before turning right into Rue de Rivoli. This section takes you past Hotel de Ville, Place de la Bastille and through a more residential area on the eastern edge of the city before you enter Bois de Vincennes park and see the Chateau de Vincennes. A wide loop of the Bois de Vincennes returns runners to the heart of the city and along the river Seine, past Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower before you enter the Bois de Boulogne park. 5km of the course takes you around the park before you finally and triumphantly finish in the wide and spacious Avenue Foch. In a nutshell, Paris in the spring, together with one of the biggest sightseeing marathons in the world is an incredible experience you won’t forget. Find course details and map here.

Starting Times and Bib Numbers: Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the 2025 Paris Marathon we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2025. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided.

Time Limits: The course time limit is six hours from the last participant crossing the start line.

How to book after package options are released
Our team will contact you, advise packages choices with prices and invite you to booking a specific package. At this stage you will need to select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a further deposit.
Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is an essential part of any holiday you take, and we highly recommend that you purchase suitable insurance for your trip. You must ensure that your travel insurance policy also covers you to participate in running events.
Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited, and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
