The 33rd edition of the Paris Half Marathon 2025, also known as the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris, will take place on 9 March 2025. The 2024 edition saw more than 48,000 finishers, with a generous time limit allowing everyone to experience this lively and exciting half marathon.
The Place de la Bastille is traditionally at the heart of the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris. Located in Paris city centre, the start and finish area makes your Paris Half Marathon 2025 experience nice and easy. It’s a great way to see the city and achieve a half marathon personal best time or simply just enjoy the festivities! Paris is fascinating with plenty to see and do. The itinerary below reflects the 2 nights package. Adding extra nights is recommended and allows you more time to explore the city.
Arrival Day, Welcome & Shake-out run.
Make your own arrangements to arrive at Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 14:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings.
You are free to enjoy the city at your leisure.
Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
At 17:30pm we invite you to join your Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area and shake-out any travel tiredness. The run will be easy and at a pace comfortable for all fitness levels. Afterwards please join us for a drink; a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners.
Saturday 8 March 2025
Pasta dinner
Today please enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us we will collect your race pack (including bag, t-shirt & race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options.
Often restaurants are booked up early, but you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race dinner.

Race day and check out
Breakfast will be available early. Those running the Paris Half Marathon 2025 will easily be able to walk to the start from Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon. The race start is approximately 20 minutes’ walk. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run, and have fun!
The 1km and 18km spectator areas of the Paris Half Marathon 2025 route are less than 10 minutes’ walk away from Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon and the finish area is 15 minutes away, making it perfectly positioned for race day and to cheer on the runners. (Please note at the time of publishing the route is TBC – if any changes occur the location of our hotel is still very accessible)
Unless you have booked extra nights please check out of your room before leaving for the race this morning. We recommend you extend your stay with us at Hotel Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon TGV so you can continue your celebrations and join us for a drink with your fellow runners this evening. Costs for extra nights can be given, or use our easy booking tool to select the extra nights.

Next to the Gare de Lyon station, it gives you access to many areas of Paris by public transport. The starting and finish area of the Paris Half Marathon 2025 is in the area of the Place de la Bastille. The race will start on the Boulevard Henri IV, continuing through the streets of Paris. Between 5km and 15km the course passes through the beautiful Bois de Vincennes park and the remaining 6km follows along the Seine to finish on Rue de Lyon. Starting Pens and Bib Numbers
Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris 2025, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris 2025. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided. This link will not be sent until closer to race day – please do not expect it immediately after booking – it will depend on when Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris 2025 send the links to us.
Please read the race rules and terms for participation carefully, as you have to accept them to participate in the event. You will be required to collect your race bib from the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris Expo.

How to book after package options are released
Our team will contact you, advise package choices with prices and invite you to book a specific package. At this stage you will need to select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a further deposit.
Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is an essential part of any holiday you take, and we highly recommend that you purchase suitable insurance for your trip. You must ensure that your travel insurance policy also covers you to participate in running events.
Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited, and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
