The itinerary below reflects the 3-nights package. Adding extra nights is recommended as this allows you the time to enjoy the city. Arriving later than Friday is not recommended.

Arrival Day

Make your own arrangements to arrive at your hotel in Berlin today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings, or use the free time to visit the Expo to collect your marathon bib and any other extra items you may have pre-ordered. Detailed directions will be provided in your final itinerary.

If you have entered the Generali 5K you will have to collect your race bib today.

The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available in your hotel this afternoon to meet and answer any questions you might have.

At Approximately 17:30 we will escort you to the Expo to collect your race registration pack. However, if you wish to make your own way there, in your own time, detailed directions will be provided in your final itinerary. Your race pack must be collected before the registration closes Saturday evening.

Race Preparation Day

At 07:00 we invite you to join Marathon Tours & Travel for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area, visit the marathon start/finish area and shake-out any travel tiredness. The run will be no more than 5km, easy and at a pace comfortable for all fitness levels. It’s a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners!

If you have entered the GENERALI 5K please make your own way to the start. To register and learn more about the GENERALI 5K visit the Berlin Marathon website.

The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have and help give you directions to the Expo if you didn’t have chance to join us yesterday. The rest of the day is at your leisure. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options.

Often restaurants are booked up early, but you do not need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race pasta dinner.

This is the day you have trained so hard for! After an early breakfast please get ready to leave the hotel for the race start in the Tiergarten. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be available to assist you with directions to the race.

From Titanic Chaussee Berlin: 25 minutes walk

From Novotel Berlin Mitte: 30 minutes walk or 20 minutes by U-Bahn

From INNSiDE by Meliá Berlin Mitte: 25 minutes walk

Family and friends can travel by public transport to support and spectate along the race route or join our team at the Marathon Tours & Travel Cheer Point on the marathon route. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to advise.

After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, relax and gaze at your lovely new shiny medal…you worked hard for it!

This evening meet your Marathon Tours & Travel team, fellow runners and supporters to celebrate your achievement! More details will be advised on the final itinerary.

Arrival Day

Your private airport transfers have been arranged for you in luxury vehicles to ensure a smooth and comfortable start to your weekend. Hotel check‑in is available from 15:00, and if you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage with the hotel while you relax or explore the local area.

Our team will be in the hotel lobby from 15:00 onwards to greet you, assist with any questions, and help you settle in.
Take some time to unwind, and then at approximately 17:00 this evening, we invite you to join us for a welcome reception. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow guests and your host ahead of an exciting weekend. Drinks and canapés will be served in a private space reserved for our group.

Guided City Tour, Lunch & Expo Visit

This morning, you will enjoy a guided city tour designed to showcase Berlin’s most iconic sights and give you a deeper sense of the city’s history and culture. Sit back, relax, and take in the highlights as our expert guide brings Berlin to life.

Midway through the tour, we will stop for lunch in an exclusive restaurant where you can enjoy a high‑quality meal in a comfortable setting.

Following lunch, the tour will continue to the Expo, where you will have plenty of time to explore, shop for merchandise and collect your race bib. Once everyone is ready, we will return you to the hotel in the late afternoon, leaving you free to enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Race Preparation Day

At approximately 07:30 this morning, we invite you to join us for a gentle shake‑out run from the hotel. This easy run (no more than 5km) is designed to loosen the legs, shake off any remaining travel fatigue and help you feel ready for tomorrow’s race. It’s also a great chance to spend time with fellow runners and ask any last‑minute questions.

If you have entered the GENERALI 5K, please make your own way to the start line. Further event details, including registration information, can be found on the official Berlin Marathon website.

For the rest of the day, we encourage you to stay off your feet and take it easy. This could be the perfect moment to make use of the spa voucher included in your package, ideal for pre‑race preparation, or you may wish to save it for post‑race recovery.

This evening, we will gather for a private pre‑race dinner in the hotel. A specially prepared menu will be available, offering a choice of carb‑focused dishes along with other nutritious options to ensure you are fully fuelled and feeling confident ahead of race day tomorrow.

Distance to the runners‑only start area (front of the Reichstag): From Hotel de Rome: approximately 15 minutes on foot

Family and friends can travel by public transport to support you along the course or join our team at our dedicated Cheer Point on the marathon route. Our staff will be happy to provide advice and directions.

After the race, make your way back to the hotel to freshen up, relax and admire your well‑earned medal, you’ve worked incredibly hard for it!

This evening, at approximately 17:30, we invite you to join us in a private space in the hotel bar for drinks and canapés as we celebrate your amazing achievement together. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share stories, take photos and enjoy the moment with fellow runners, supporters and our team.
