Grab your running club friends & family and challenge each other to a weekend of running and camaraderie at the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge (BTC)! Escape the winter and enjoy the Martin Luther King Holiday Weekend in this British Overseas Territory just a short two (2) hour flight from East Coast cities and only two and a half (2.5) hours from Toronto, Canada. Earn the coveted BTC medal and amazing swag (including the BTC Jacket!) by running the Butterfield Mile on Friday evening, the Allshores 10K walk/run on Saturday morning and either the PwC Marathon or Half-Marathon on Sunday. Earn big-time bragging rights for either the Full Challenge or the Half Challenge! The option to walk a 5K or enter just one of the races is available as well.

Shake-out Run, Expo & Front Street Mile
We will start the day with an optional shakeout run, which will include quick photo stops and an introduction to where weekend race events will happen. The rest of the day is free to explore this semi-tropical island famous for its pastel hued buildings, friendly locals and great shopping. The Bermuda Triangle Challenge (BTC) Expo and bib pickup is in the Harbourview Ballroom at the Hamilton Princess Hotel. The Bank of Butterfield Front Street Mile starts at 7:00pm and is just a short 1km walk from the hotel. The entire island lines Front Street to cheer on both locals and international visitors. Following the race enjoy one of the several local restaurants on Front Street.

5K, 10K & Pasta Dinner
This morning is the Allshores 5K & 10K. Our group will meet in the hotel lobby for our short ride by shuttle to the National Stadium, where the race and awards ceremony takes place. Upon arriving back at the hotel, the rest of the afternoon is yours to relax poolside or perhaps rent a scooter to tour the island. There is a maximum speed limit of 20 mph so no need to worry about speeders! Your package includes reservations at the pre-race pasta dinner with guest speaker (TBC). (Breakfast and dinner included)

PwC Marathon, or PwC Half-Marathon
Those participating in the PwC Marathon will be shuttled by ferry from the hotel to the start which is at the Dockyard located on the far end of the island. Runners participating in the PwC Half-Marathon can walk out the front doors of the Hamilton Princess to the start! . Both events finish in the center of Hamilton at Barr’s Bay Park, which is about .25 miles from the hotel. The post-race festival will keep you hydrated and entertained after your race as you celebrate your earned one, two, three or four medals! (Breakfast included)

Enjoy the day exploring the Crystal Caves of Bermuda followed by lunch at the renowned Swizzle Inn with pitchers of “Swizzles” (local drink) to share. Next, we visit historic St. Georges parish. Consisting of several islands connected by bridges, you will get a feel for the “heart of Bermuda”. More than four centuries old, St. George is a designated UNESCO site and steeped with history. The architecture that lines its narrow grid of streets makes it a joy to navigate on foot.
This evening, join your fellow runners for appetizers and local drinks at our welcome reception back at the hotel.

Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge (BTC): Test yourself with a unique combination of events by running the Bank of Butterfield Front Street Mile, the Allshores 10K and either the PwC Half-Marathon or PwC Marathon. Receive an individual medal for each event and the coveted BTC medal for completing either the full challenge or half-challenge.
Please note: The Allshores 5K run/walk is a stand-alone event and does not count towards the full or half Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge.
Course:
The Bank of Butterfield Front Street Mile will see Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants share the stage as they run over the same course as the following 10 heats of invited runners. Invited runners will have competed for an invitation to race on Front Street or will have raced internationally. Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants will run in waves.
The Allshores Bermuda 10K & 5K RUN/WALK starts outside the National Sports Stadium and follows Middle Road in the center of the island until it loops onto North Shore Road for the return journey to finish inside the stadium. The course is constantly rolling hills with a long uphill at mile 5.
The PwC Bermuda Half-Marathon enjoys many breathtaking views of Bermuda’s South and North coasts. The rolling course is camouflaged by the changing shades of blue ocean, bright hues of pastel colored houses, lush greenery and fascinating architecture, it’s easy to see why they call Bermuda paradise.
The PwC Bermuda Marathon will start at the historic Royal Naval Dockyard. Runners will have the opportunity to run along the scenic, quiet Bermuda Railway Trail for approximately 4.3 miles through Somerset and into Southampton, leaving the trail briefly to run over the iconic Somerset Bridge, the world’s smallest drawbridge. The course will pass by some of Bermuda’s most famous beaches, including Horseshoe Bay, Jobson’s Cove, and Warwick Long Bay. Runners will join the PwC Bermuda Half-Marathon course just after mile 14 and follow the remaining 12 miles of the PwC Bermuda Half-Marathon course to the finish line on Front Street in Hamilton. The PWC Bermuda Marathon is a certified course and a Boston qualifier.
Temperature: Average temperatures range between 52F and 75F.
2027 Entry Fee: MTT clients will enjoy a 10% discount on entry fees! Once registered, you will receive a special code.
Eligibility:
- Allshores 5K participants must be 10 years or older on Saturday, January 16, 2027
- Allshores 10K participants must be 12 years or older on Saturday, January 16, 2027
- There is no age restriction for the Allshores Bermuda 10K & 5K Walk
- PwC Bermuda Marathon & Half Marathon participants must be 16 years old on Sunday, January 17, 2027
- Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants must be 16 years old on Friday, January 17, 2027 (first day of the event)
Time Limit: Marathon course support will discontinue at a 13 minute per mile pace. Marathoners not reaching 13 miles in 3.5 hours will be directed to the Bermuda Half-Marathon finish line.
Number Pickup: The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Race Expo and Number Pickup is Friday, January 15 from 10 AM – 6 PM in the Harborview Ballroom at the Hamilton Princess Hotel. More details here.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare cover. Make sure that you are insured for existing medical conditions, any activities you plan to do and any equipment that you plan to take. Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Race Rules
Our itinerary and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions. All race rules and procedures need to be followed.
