This record-breaking Abbott World Marathon Majors event will once again transform London, bringing tens of thousands of participants to run past the city’s most famous landmarks, finishing majestically on the Mall before Buckingham Palace.

The itinerary below reflects the 4-nights premium package. Adding extra nights is available on request.
Arrival Day & Welcome Reception
Make your way to London and on arrival check in to your hotel. Hotel rooms are usually ready after 3pm; if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel concierge and explore the city and surrounds. Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.
If you wish to visit the TCS London Marathon Running Show (Expo) and collect your bib number today, detailed directions using public transport will be provided in your final itinerary.
In the early evening, we invite you to meet the Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers to enjoy a welcome drink.
Friday 24 April 2026
Today we will provide guidance to the TCS London Marathon Expo, where each runner will need to collect their bib. You can enjoy the expo at your leisure and make your way own way back to the hotel via train service. The rest of the day is free for you to explore London independently.

Saturday 25 April 2026
Free Day & Pasta Dinner
Today is a free day to explore London at your leisure!
Often restaurants are booked up early, but you do not need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as the Marathon Tours & Travel team host a delicious and nutritious pre-race pasta dinner.

TCS London Marathon 2026 & Celebrations
This is the day you have trained so hard for! After an early breakfast, please get ready to leave the hotel for the race start in Greenwich.
The Marathon Tours & Travel private coaches will depart at approximately 07:00am (time TBC) and take you directly to the start area, relaxed and ready to run.
Family and friends can travel by public transport to support and spectate along the race route. The Marathon Tours & Travel host will be happy to advise.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, relax and gaze at your lovely new shiny medal…you worked hard for it!
This evening join your Marathon Tours & Travel host, fellow runners and supporters to celebrate your achievement with a post-race celebration reception with drinks and nibbles! More details will be advised on the final itinerary.

How to Book
To make your booking, click on the book now button, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.

Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.
Travel advice
It’s important to be up-to-date with the latest information about where you’re travelling to and what documents you need to have in order to travel.
For information about travelling to the UK and your requirements as a non-British passport holder, you should check the overseas travel details on your own government’s website.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare cover. Make sure that you are insured for existing medical conditions, any activities you plan to do and any equipment that you plan to take. Travel insurance covers you if anything doesn’t go to plan before you travel as well, so we recommend sorting it at the time of booking. For more information, click here.
Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
