Tenerife Top Training – T3

The T3 Tenerife training camp, part of our range of sport resorts on offer with Marathon Tours & Travel.

T3, Tenerife

Tenerife Top Training, or T3 as it’s more affectionately known, is one of the best sports training facilities in Europe. The range of sports on offer is superb – from athletics (with a three-lane 330m track), swimming, triathlon and crossfit to rugby, football and cycling. Throw in padel, tennis, beach volleyball and paralympic sport and you’ve nearly covered the full range! This facility is perfect for group training camps for clubs, or groups of like-minded friends and we can tailor a week’s training programme with professional coaches to suit your needs – whether you’re looking to improve your fitness to participate in your first half marathon or you’re trying to find a way to beat your marathon or triathlon PB.

There is no accommodation within T3 itself, so we have partnered with local hotels in La Caleta to provide an ideal base for you to get the rest and nutrition you need whilst training. You can choose from 3*, 4* or 5* hotels within a few minutes of T3, all with comfortable rooms and great facilities for relaxing after a hard day’s training. The hotels have also been chosen specifically because of their restaurant menus with a focus on the nutritional needs of athletes in training, so you can choose the level of carbs and proteins you need to refuel for the following day’s activity.

Plan rest days in to your training camp, giving you the chance to explore some of the island. Visit Vilaflor on the slopes of Mount Teide or head north to Garachico, Icod de los Vinos or Puerto de la Cruz.

T3 can provide a team of English speaking professional coaches for a variety of sports and has superb facilities in which to train groups of athletes. Choose from tailored, Crossfit or Triathlon packages.

A range of accommodation is close to the T3 training facility, providing a base from which to train and enjoy the hotel facilities too. Relaxation is a key part of training as is nutrition – provided by the hotels’ restaurants.

Private airport transfers from and to Tenerife South Airport (subject to availability and payable at time of booking).
