The TCS London Marathon has become one of the most sought after Abbott World Marathon Majors races. Known for its flat scenic course, world-class competition and excellent organisation, this gem of a marathon will have you feeling like royalty when you cross the finish line on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace!
Marathon Tours & Travel hosted our first trip in 1982 and have a long standing relationship with the London Marathon team. We are delighted to partner with the event organisers as the Official Participant Hotel Provider of the TCS London Marathon 2025. We are also honoured to be the Official Travel Agency and Tour Operator of the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM).
Our 4-night AbbottWMM Six Star Journey Package is available to anyone who has already secured their own entry. If you wish to join like-minded runners, on the same journey please book this package which includes accommodation at the St. James’ Court London, A Taj Hotel and is a short walking distance from the finish, as well as iconic places such as St. James’ Park, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. This special package caters for runners and supporters alike and includes invitations for you to take part in activities such as a welcome reception, an optional guided tour of Windsor Castle, a guided walking London City Tour with a cruise on the Thames River and a visit to the TCS London Marathon Expo, plus a pre-race dinner and post-race celebration. The Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be on hand for guidance and support to help make your trip an enjoyable and successful time.

Thursday 24 April
Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before, or depart on different days to the following itinerary. The itinerary below reflects the London Marathon AbbottWMM Six Star Journey 4-nights package.
If there is not a convenient flight to London that has you arriving early, then we recommend adding extra nights, allowing you the time to enjoy the city.
Arrive in London and make your way to the St. James’ Court London, A Taj Hotel, where you will be greeted by a team member of Marathon Tours & Travel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the fabulous city of London! This evening enjoy a Welcome Reception with your running peers and meet your Marathon Tours & Travel Host(s).
Friday 25 April
Enjoy a morning city walking tour of London with a local guide that includes a trip down the River Thames. See and experience the splendor of this great city from the relaxed comfort of a modern, purpose-built, all-weather City Cruises Sightseeing boat. Once you reach Tower Pier, we will board our coach bus for a trip to the TCS London Marathon Expo where each runner needs to collect their bib. At your leisure make your own way back to the St. James’ Court London, A Taj Hotel. The rest of the day and evening are for you to enjoy.

Saturday 26 April
Join us for the optional morning shakeout run around St James’ Park where you can view your future TCS London Marathon Finish area! Today you can choose to have a free day to explore further or you can join an optional guided tour of Windsor Castle. The tour of Windsor Castle is £119 per person and must be pre-booked. Tonight we will gather for a pre-race pasta dinner where you can chat with fellow runners.

Monday 28 April
After a leisure morning, make your way to the airport for your international flight home or to your next destination. Wishing you safe travels and we look forward to seeing you again at your next Marathon Tours & Travel event.

Guided Windsor Castle Tour | £119 per person
Join us on Saturday for an optional day tour of Windsor Castle. As the world’s oldest occupied castle, Windsor Castle offers a rich blend of history, architecture, and royal tradition. Enjoy a guided tour around the castle grounds, where you’ll be able to see the beautiful gardens, changing of the guard, St. George’s Chapel and more!

Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
