  Arrive in Milan and transfer on your own by train, taxi or shuttle to our hotel.
  
  Your Marathon Tours & Travel host will be available at the hotel on arrival. This afternoon, if you arrive early enough you can visit the Milan Marathon 2027 Expo to pick up your race bib and packet.
  
  Tonight, join us for a Welcome Cocktail Reception and trip briefing to find more about the Milan Marathon Weekend and to meet the other runners in our tour group.
  
  This evening you are free to discover some of Milan’s culinary pleasures under your own steam. There are many amazing restaurants close to the hotel.

  After breakfast at the hotel, today is all yours to enjoy the city and to prepare for the marathon tomorrow.
  
  If you did not manage to pick up your bib from the Expo yesterday we strongly advise you do this as early as possible today to avoid the rush later on!
  
  Tonight join us for a pre-race dinner at a local restaurant.
  
  Sunday 4 April 2027 - Wizz Air Milano Marathon

  Breakfast will be available early. Those running the marathon will easily be able to walk to the start from the hotel. The race start area is just a 15-minute walk away.
  
  Please leave plenty of extra time to make your way through the crowds, drop off your bag (if you chose this option) and to find your specific start pen. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run and have fun!
  
  Upon finishing your race, you can walk back to your hotel for a free afternoon.
  
  Join us this evening for a group Celebration Reception.

  Milan Marathon Course: The Milan Marathon is the fastest marathon in Italy and one of the fastest on the international scene (the fastest in the world in 2021); every year, countless participants achieve their personal best in Milan.
  
  Course: Runners pass some of Milan’s most recognisable locations, including the majestic Duomo, the historic Sforza Castle and the vibrant Navigli district. From elegant city-centre boulevards to contemporary neighbourhoods and lively spectator zones, the Milan Marathon offers a memorable tour of Italy’s fashion and cultural capital.
  
  Temperature: Held in early spring, the Milan Marathon typically offers cool race-morning temperatures and comfortable conditions throughout the day. Average temperatures range from 8–12°C (46–54°F) at the start and warm to around 16–19°C (61–66°F) by the afternoon, creating excellent conditions for both first-time marathoners and runners pursuing a personal best.
  
  Entry Fee: Entry to the marathon via Marathon Tours & Travel is £.
  
  Eligibility: Non-competitive runners do not require a medical certificate. The race time will not be displayed in the general leader board but will rather only be available next to the athlete’s name, in alphabetical order, in a separate result table and the athlete will not be able to receive any prizes. Waiver instructions will be provided when runners register.
  
  Time Limit: The course time limit for the marathon is six (6) hours and 30 minutes. Streets are open to traffic and pedestrians in the late stages of the race.
  
  Number Pickup: Participants must personally pick up bib numbers and race packets. More details will be shared as soon they are available.

  How to Book
  
  To make your booking, click on the BOOK NOW button at the bottom of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.
  
  Payments
  
  When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.
  
  Travel advice
  
  Before you travel, check the ‘Entry requirements’ section for Italy’s current entry restrictions and requirements.
  
  Travel Insurance
  
  We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare cover. Make sure that you are insured for existing medical conditions, any activities you plan to do and any equipment that you plan to take.   Security Policy
  
  Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
  
  Race Rules
  
  Our itinerary and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions. All race rules and procedures need to be followed.
  
  Starting Pens and Bib Numbers
  
  Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Milan Marathon 2027, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers. After purchasing your race entry with us, you will be sent a link to complete the registration process. Please do not expect it immediately after booking – it will be sent when Milan Marathon sends the links to us. The race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information you provide.

Abbott World Marathon Major Age Group Qualifying Race
- This event is an Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship (AGWC) Qualifying Race. If you achieve the automatic qualifying time for your age group, found here, you’ll be invited to the 2028 Age Group World Championship (location still to be determined). The qualifying period begins on January 1, 2027, and will conclude on December 31, 2027.
