Marathon du Medoc
Marathon du Medoc 2025
On Saturday 6 September 2025, thousands of wine-loving runners will again make their way through the vineyards north of Bordeaux for the Marathon du Medoc 2025. Fancy dress is a must and every year there is a different theme, in 2024 the theme was “Make Your Games!”. Entries for 2025 are expected to go on general sale in March but they tend to sell out very quickly so guarantee your participation instead with Marathon Tours & Travel ahead of that time.
We offer both a 3-night and a 5-night tour to the Marathon du Medoc, with plenty to see and do for both runners and spectators. We have a private coach at our disposal all weekend and we stay at a 4-star hotel in Bordeaux. Friends are made every year at the welcome dinner and drinks on arrival on Thursday, and on Friday we enjoy a pasta party together at a local vineyard. Return private transport to the marathon is included on Saturday for runners and spectators.
We will celebrate on Sunday with a walk through local vineyards with plenty of tasting stops, followed by a celebration party. On Monday we will visit Saint-Emilion before a Gala Dinner at Chateau Agassac.
