This evening, join us for a drink; a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners.

Shakeout Run & Pasta dinner
This morning join us for a light shakeout run for an easy run, no more than 5k around either the start or finish area. (approx 7:30am)
Today enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us we will collect your race pack (includes bag, t-shirt & race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack
In the evening, join the Marathon Tours & Travel team for a delicious and nutritious race pasta dinner.

Race Day and celebrations!
Pre-race breakfast available early. There is easy access to the Paris Marathon 2026 start area from Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile (approximately 20 minutes’ walk away from the hotel)
The spectator areas of the Paris Marathon 2026 route are easily accessible on foot or by Metro and the finish area is 15 minutes’ walk away, making it perfectly positioned for race day and to cheer on the runners.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate…you deserve it! Tonight, we will gather in the hotel bar for a post-race celebration and drink.

Following breakfast, we will depart for a day tour highlighting the historical landmarks of Paris; the tour will include a stop at the “Salon du Running” Marathon Expo. This evening, unwind with a magical dinner cruise along the Seine, offering stunning views of illuminated Paris architecture.

Our day will begin in Aÿ-Champagne with a visit to the Pressoria Interactive Museum where your senses will be taken on a journey through the history of the region. You can watch, touch, smell, listen, and taste the wine of Kings on this immersive tour.
Next stop is a local vineyard in a Premier Cru village near Epernay, where several prestigious Champagne Houses settled during the 19th century. You will be treated to a guided tour and brasero lunch before heading into town for a stroll of the iconic Avenue de Champagne. With its Champagne Houses and private mansions, this straight road of more than a kilometer is lined with buildings mainly dating back to the end of the 19th century; many call it “the most expensive street of the world”, as millions of champagne bottles sleep underneath the buildings.
After admiring the private mansions and large trading houses, we will visit the Pommery Champagne House, a magnificent Elizabethan complex built by the widow Pommery in the middle of the 19th century. We will raise our glasses to a magnificent day in the Champagne region before heading back to Paris. (Breakfast & Lunch included)

Race Date: Sunday 12 April 2026
Start Times: From 08:15am to 10:50am (TBC)
Course (TBC): The start line of the Paris Marathon 2026 is on the famous Champs Elysees Avenue, in front of the Arc de Triomphe. Runners head towards and around Place De la Concorde before turning right into Rue de Rivoli. This section takes you past Hotel de Ville, Place de la Bastille and through a more residential area on the eastern edge of the city before you enter Bois de Vincennes park and see the Chateau de Vincennes. A wide loop of the Bois de Vincennes returns runners to the heart of the city and along the river Seine, past Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower before you enter the Bois de Boulogne park. 5km of the course takes you around the park before you finally and triumphantly finish in the wide and spacious Avenue Foch. In a nutshell, Paris in the spring, together with one of the biggest sightseeing marathons in the world is an incredible experience you won’t forget. Find course details and map here.

Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2026. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided.

Medical Certification/Health Prevention Course Form: To take part in this event, in order to receive your race number, you will be required to produce either a medical certificate or the health prevention course form. We have outlined both options below:

Health Prevention Course Form: Runners must download and complete the Health Prevention Course within 3 months of the race date. You can download the Health Prevention Course here. Once completed, you will receive a certificate in PDF format, and you must upload it to your TIME TO account.
Weather: Average temperatures range between 10C to 17C (50F to 63F).
Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative finisher t-shirt and upon finishing received a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

How to book after package options are released
Our team will contact you, advise packages choices with prices and invite you to booking a specific package. At this stage you will need to select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a further deposit.
Payments
When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.
Travel advice

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare cover. Make sure that you are insured for existing medical conditions, any activities you plan to do and any equipment that you plan to take. Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited, and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Eligibility
To take part in this event, the participant must have been born in 2006 or earlier. Therefore participants must be aged at least 20 years old on 31 December 2025.
Medical Certification/Health Prevention Course Form
To take part in this event, in order to receive your race number, you will be required to produce either a medical certificate or the health prevention course form. We have outlined both options below:
