A total of 840,318 people applied for the 2025 edition of the TCS London Marathon, making it a record-breaking amount of applications for the UK-based event, and potentially the largest amount of applications for one marathon ever. The 2024 edition of the TCS London Marathon saw 53,000 runners take part, from a total of 578,000 applications, meaning even with an increase in entries there’s still going to be a lot of runners who sadly have to postpone their London dream until 2026.

Rome Marathon – 16/03/25
Rome is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, filled with ancient buildings, landmarks and incredible food! The Rome Marathon 2025 takes place in the historic centre of Italy’s capital city; indeed there are few races that offer the opportunity to pass by world-famous landmarks like the Colosseum!

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris has become one of the world’s largest marathons, drawing participants from all corners of the globe, with over 54,000 runners in the 2024 edition, from over 140 countries. Impressively, around 1/3 of the runners are first-time marathoners!
