No more medical certificate required for the 2025 Paris Marathon and Paris Half Marathon!

A runner crosses the finish line during a running event in Paris, with the news that there is no longer a requirement for medical certificates Paris Marathon

After the success of the 2024 Paris Olympics here at Marathon Tours & Travel, we’ve seen a big surge in interest in both the 2025 Paris Half Marathon (Sunday 9 March 2025) and the 2025 Paris Marathon (Sunday 13th April 2025).

The great news is that from 2024 there will no longer be the need for runners to complete a medical certificate to take part in each race, which was previously a requirement for these events.

This will remove a barrier to participation for some runners, who found the previous requirement both costly and a hassle to get a medical certificate.

The medical certificate is being replaced with an online questionnaire calledthe Health Prevention Course (HPC)’ which does not take long to complete and can be done online. Once completed this form still needs to be uploaded to the runner’s registration portal called ‘TimeTo’. More information can be found here: Health certificate (schneiderelectricparismarathon.com)
