adidas Manchester Marathon

We’ve reason to love the adidas Manchester Marathon – it’s where our Head Office is after all! But this marathon in the United Kingdom’s second city is also one of the most exciting, fastest growing marathons in Europe and this year is taking place on the same day as the TCS London Marathon. That means the UK will be the world’s number one marathon destination in the last weekend in April. The reaction has been huge, so much so that we’ve sold out for places in the 2025 Manchester Marathon and we’re ready for another huge 2026 edition!
The UK’s second largest and Europe’s 4th largest marathon takes in some of Manchester’s most famous architectural, cultural and sporting locations on its fun, fast route. Starting at Old Trafford, the iconic home of Manchester United, the route weaves its way in to Manchester city centre passing the historic Castlefield district before making its way out to the beautiful suburbs of Sale, Altrincham and Chorlton. From there, you’ll be motivated for the end as you race towards the finish line on the bustling Oxford Road, finishing outside the magnificent Manchester University and Manchester Museum.

TCS London Marathon

Probably the most iconic marathon in the world and this year; they’re aiming to be the biggest as well. The 2025 TCS London Marathon is on track to have more than 56,000 finishers – the current world record is 55,646 finishers at the TCS New York City Marathon in 2024. If 2025 is a success (which we’re absolutely certain it will be) 2026 looks set to be even bigger!
It doesn’t get much better than the London Marathon, a race synonymous with marathon racing. One of the world-renowned Abbott World Marathon Majors, the route’s finish on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace has played scene to some of the most famous, heart-warming and fervent scenes in modern marathon history. Before that, you’ll take in the beautiful district of Greenwich, the Cutty Sark, the towering Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and Big Ben amongst many other well-known locations. The crowd is legendary!
