The Wizz Air Milano Marathon 2025 promises another fantastic running experience. With a fast and scenic course winding through the heart of the city, a medal and jersey for all finishers, and a three-day running festival, the event offers something for everyone. The race will once again start and finish at the stunning Piazza del Duomo, with cheering crowds motivating runners along every kilometre. Over 10,000 runners are expected to participate in the 23rd edition on April 6th, turning Milan into a vibrant celebration of running.
Marathon Tours & Travel’s Milan Marathon 2025 packages include a conveniently located 4* hotel with breakfast for 3 nights. We also offer guaranteed entry plus various group activities which will provide the perfect opportunity to meet other England Athletics Masters Athletes! Arrival Day, Welcome Meet and greet & Shake-out Run
Make your own arrangements to arrive at the Hotel dei Cavalieri Milan Duomo today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 3pm. If you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings while you wait for the room to be ready.
In the evening, around 6pm, we invite you to meet your Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers to enjoy a Welcome Reception with drinks and canapés.

Saturday 5th April 2025
Expo & Pasta Dinner
Today can be enjoyed at your leisure. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options.
Later today, at approximately 6pm, please join us for a pre-race pasta dinner at the hotel.

Sunday 6th April 2025
Race Day and Celebrations!
An early breakfast will be available this morning. The race will start in the Piazza del Duomo at around 08:30am. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run and have fun!
After the race make your way back to the hotel, which is less than 10 minutes walk away from the finish area, freshen up, and relax… you deserve it!
Early this evening meet your Marathon Tours & Travel team, fellow runners and supporters to celebrate your achievement with drinks and canapés.

Marathon Tours & Travel’s policy is that anyone staying in our room block must be part of our package. If you plan to bring a spouse or guest, they must purchase our package. For example, if there are two of you, the rate would be the double occupancy rate (per person). If you purchase a single occupancy rate package, then only you are allowed in your room. To attend any of our activities, you must be part of our package.

We are pleased to offer England Athletics members guaranteed entry for the Milan Marathon 2025 event should you wish to run!
Eligibility:
Marathon Tours & Travel, an authorised tour operator, is required to offer travel arrangements in conjunction with guaranteed race entry. All runners must be 20 years or older to participate in the marathon.

Temperature:
In April, Milan usually sees temperatures around 15-20°C (59-68°F) during the day, with cooler evenings. While the days are generally sunny, there might be occasional rain showers.
Difficulty:
The Milan Marathon is generally considered a relatively flat and fast course, making it suitable for runners of all levels.
Course
The Wizz Air Milano Marathon offers a fast and scenic course that predominantly winds through the heart of the city. Both the start and finish lines are located at the iconic Piazza del Duomo. With its flat profile and enthusiastic crowd support, the Milano Marathon is a popular choice for runners aiming to achieve a personal best time.
The course takes runners on a journey through Milan’s historic and modern districts, offering stunning views of iconic landmarks like the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Castello Sforzesco. The route also passes through vibrant neighbourhoods, parks, and along the Naviglio canals.
Race Time:
The start will be at 8:30 a.m. and the finish will be by 3 p.m.
Minimum Pace/Cut-off Time Policy:
The maximum official time for finishing the race will be 6h:30, with this time limit not being exceeded under any circumstances.
Awards:
Every finisher receives a medal.

When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.

Security Policy
Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Race Rules and Terms of Participation
Our itinerary and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions.

Starting Pens and Bib Numbers
Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Milan Marathon 2025 events we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Closer to the event we will send you instructions which will allow you to complete the registration process. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided.
