The 34th Edition of the Paris Half Marathon – also known as The Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris attracts over 48,000+ entries. This is a lively, inclusive, and exciting race providing first time or long-term participants with an unforgettable experience.    

Traditionally, La Place de la Bastille is at the heart of the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris. The start and finish area are in the city center of Paris, making your Paris Half Marathon experience easily accessible. It is an excellent way to immerse oneself into the personality of Paris and achieve a half marathon personal best time (PB) all while enjoying the surrounding festivities! Trusted by the event organizers as a Diamond Graded Official Tour Operator of the Paris Half Marathon 2026, Marathon Tours & Travel can offer you guaranteed entry.  

Our curated package includes accommodation at a 4* hotel within walking distance to and from La Place de la Bastille – placing participants near the main tourist attractions of Paris and the race route. We invite you to take part in our shake-out run, pre-race pasta dinner, and post-race celebration.       Arrival day, welcome & shake-out run

      Please arrive at Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 2:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings. You are free to enjoy the city at your leisure today! Marathon Tours & Travel hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have.

      We invite you to join your Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers for an easy shake-out run from the hotel (comfortable for all fitness levels). Afterwards join us for a drink; a perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know your fellow runners.

      Enjoy the city at your leisure today. If you booked your race entry with us, we will collect your race pack (including bag, t-shirt & race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack.

      Breakfast will be available early.

      Those running the Paris Half Marathon 2026 will easily be able to walk to the start from Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon (approximately 20 minutes walk away). The 1km and 18km spectator areas of the Paris Half Marathon route are less than 10 minutes’ walk away from Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon.

      Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon is situated in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, adjacent to the Gare de Lyon railway station, providing direct access to major attractions such as the Louvre Museum, Bastille and Disneyland Paris. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and the Olicéa restaurant, which serves French and Mediterranean cuisine. Additional amenities include a bar/lounge, coffee shop and snack bar/deli. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

    • Race Date: Sunday, March 8, 2026

      Race Time: From 08:30 AM (TBC)

      Course (TBC): The start and finish area of the Paris Half Marathon 2026 is near the Place de la Bastille. The race will start on the Boulevard Henri IV, continuing through the streets of Paris. Between 5km and 15km, the course passes through the beautiful Bois de Vincennes Park, and the remaining 6km follows the Seine to finish on Rue de Lyon.       Medical Certificate: All runners are required to provide a medical certificate (this is a legal requirement for taking part in running events in France) stating that there is no medical indication that they cannot take part in a competitive running event. Medical certificates must be uploaded to the runner’s personal account before the event. Only if medical certificates have been uploaded to the runner’s account, can we collect and deliver entries to the hotel. If your medical certificate has been refused or if you didn’t upload it, you will have to print and bring it at the bib collection (it must be dated less than a year prior the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athleticism in competition » or « sport in competition »). To avoid mistakes we advise you to use this certificate template.

      Time Limit: The course time limit is two and a half hours. (to be confirmed)

      Entry Fee: As a Diamond Tour Operator, MTT has a special guaranteed race entry fee of $140. Entry only is not available.

      Eligibility: To take part in this event, the participant must be aged at least 18 years old on 31 December 2026. 

      NEW: No medical certificate will be required in 2026 for foreign participants. The medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is mandatory in order to collect your race number. Instructions can be found here. 

      Temperature: Average temperatures on race day are between 40 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative t-shirt and upon finishing receive a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

      Difficulty: Easy. The route is flat.

  • Registration & Booking

    • Rates: All prices are based on current exchange rates and may change due to currency fluctuations. Pricing is listed per person. Airfares are constantly changing and we can quote you by phone the best available rates and most convenient flights for these packages.

      Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $300 per person must be received before confirming your reservations. Final payment is due on or before December 8, 2025. Final payments received after December 8 will be charged a $50 late payment fee.

      Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.

      Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under package features. Entry fee is additional.

      Insurance: For your protection, trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is highly recommended for all participants. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.

      Security Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.

      Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.

Trip Designer

Patrick joined the Marathon Tours & Travel team after receiving his Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Canyon University. While earning his degree, he spent a year in the Harvard University athletic department working in marketing and fan engagement. Born and raised in New Jersey, Patrick also spent time working in the athletic departments of both Princeton and Monmouth University in similar roles. Patrick is a graduate of William Paterson University of New Jersey with a B.A. in Sport Management and Business Administration and has a passion for both running and sports alike. He hopes to combine his passion of travel and running with his business acumen to create incredible experiences for runners around the world.
