Marathon Tours & Travel is proud to be the Official Travel Agency for the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS. In 2025, the TCS Sydney Marathon made history by becoming the seventh race to join the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) series. This milestone places Sydney among the world’s most elite marathon destinations.

Picture the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House, its iconic sails gleaming against the skyline, and the majestic steel arch of the Harbour Bridge. Imagine the sparkling blue waters of Sydney Harbour and the golden sands of Bondi Beach. These unforgettable sights draw visitors from around the globe, and once here, they discover a vibrant, multicultural city rich in its passion for the arts and sports.

As the only remaining legacy event from the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, the TCS Sydney Marathon offers runners a truly unique experience. The course showcases Sydney’s most iconic landmarks and gives participants the rare opportunity to cross the Harbour Bridge completely traffic-free.

The marathon has been awarded the prestigious top honor of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Road Race Gold Label status – recognizing the event alongside household names of marathons such as London, Boston and New York.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to capacity limitations, a minimum of one (1) guaranteed entry per room is required for this package. If you secure a race entry on your own, we welcome you to join the Sydney – Abbott WMM Package. The race entry fee is non-refundable once you are confirmed on the package.

The TCS Sydney Marathon is an AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel World Age Group Qualifying Race.

    • "Especially being a solo traveler..." - 2025
Especially being a solo traveler, it was comfortable and reassuring experience to be at a hotel with so many other runners, and a pleasure to share in the sightseeing and celebration experiences as a group.
      "We had a wonderful time..." - 2025

We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it. We didn’t want to come home!

      "Five-stars..." - 2025

Five-stars; zero thinking required. I tell people this is a great example of why people pay for a service. Everything is thought out end-to-end. I am too tired in my career, etc. to put effort into planning this amount of logistics. Plus, they know EVERYTHING about the race logistics.

"It was a package that is a perfect balance..." - 2025

It was a package that is a perfect balance of activity, relaxation, and enjoyment.

"This is our third trip with Marathon Tours & Travel and..." - 2024

This is our third trip with Marathon Tours & Travel and we have already booked our fourth. The planning, professionalism and effort all come through and make for a fun, low-stress and hassle-free trip. Thank you!

"Had the best time. (As always)..." - 2024

Had the best time. (As always). My family who travelled with me for the first time was pleasantly surprised and very happy with their experience. They felt included even if they were not runners. They were very inspired.

"Perfect if you ask me..." - 2024

Perfect if you ask me! I was a female traveling by myself and felt very comfortable with all of your informative and detailed emails. You are the best and I heard that from many others!

"This was my first trip with Marathon Tours & Travel and..." - 2024

This was my first trip with Marathon Tours & Travel and it won’t be my last. It was nice not to have to worry about booking trips and having breakfast every morning was great.

"This was such a wonderful experience..." - 2022

This was such a wonderful experience for my wife and I. Every time I think our trips with Marathon Tours & Travel can’t get better, they seem to keep raising the bar. It is so nice to have a stress-free time, the staff really is more like friends to us.

"The information about travel and what to expect was extremely helpful..." - 2022

"The company on the trip and the MTT efforts were extraordinary..." - 2022

I loved getting to experience a lot of what Sydney has to offer and the Great Barrier Reef! The company on the trip and the MTT efforts were extraordinary, as usual.

"Ann was great and I hope I told her so..." - 2019

Ann was great and I hope I told her so. She was very attentive to the group but down to earth and realistic with everything. She also made sure everything took place as scheduled and there was not one hiccup, at least that I am aware of. This was our first trip and my wife, who was reluctant to do this in the first place, by the time we left was asking when we were going to do another one.

"Everything was well planned..." - 2019

Everything was well planned. The hotel was in a great location, I could walk to pretty much everything that I wanted to see.

"Our family had a wonderful time on the trip..." - 2019

Our family had a wonderful time on the trip. We credit Ann for a large part of our conclusion. My wife accompanied my Son and I for the first time; Ann and rest of group made her feel like one of the group , even though she did not participate in the Race. She had a much more enjoyable experience than I think she expected.
