We’re inviting runners, adventurers, and storytellers from around the world to apply via Instagram by answering one simple question: “Why should you be chosen for the Coolest Job on Earth?”.

A self-proclaimed middle-of-the-pack runner, Jeff has completed 53 marathons across all seven continents, earned three Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Medals, and is a proud Seven Continents Club® Finisher.

Nick Busca, Journalist & 2025 Antarctica Marathon® Finisher

Nick is a freelance journalist based in Switzerland. Born and raised in the Italian Alps, his sports and travel stories have been published in The National Geographic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the BBC, and The Guardian.

Stacey Leasca, Travel journalist and content creator

Stacey is an award-winning travel journalist, editor, and content creator, and a contributing writer for Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Glamour, and Men’s Health. She is also the co-founder of the ‘Be a Travel Writer Course’.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 This campaign is open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel from 13-26 March, 2026.
1.2 Employees of Marathon Tours & Travel, affiliated partners, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
1.3 Only one entry per person is permitted during the promotional period: 25 October to 30 November, 2025.
1.4 Clients who are booked onto our 2026 Antarctica Marathon® package already are welcome to enter. If you win, we’ll make it simple by offering a credit/refund for any overlapping elements of the prize (up to the value of those elements).

2. Entry Period

2.1 The campaign opens at 10:00 EST on Saturday 25 October 2025 and will close at 23:59 EST on Sunday 30 November 2025.
2.2 Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To enter, participants must:

  1. Create an Instagram post/reel answering: “Why should you be chosen for the Coolest Job on Earth?”
  2. Tag @antarctica_marathon and @marathontours and use the hashtag #CoolestJobOnEarth.
  3. Post before the closing date for your chance to win.

3.2 Notes:

  • Entries must be publicly viewable and remain live throughout the duration of the campaign period.
  • No written forms, paperwork, or CVs are required.
  • If applicant is not on social media, applications can be sent to [email protected] for consideration.

4. Prize Details

4.1 One (1) winner will be selected to take part in the 2026 Antarctica Marathon® in a behind-the-scenes support and content role, including:

  • Full travel and inclusion in the official Antarctica Marathon® Voyage 2 experience, scheduled for 13 – 26 March, 2026.
  • Option to take part in the Antarctica Marathon® or Half Marathon 2026.
  • Opportunity to document and share their experience as part of the campaign content.
  • Travel logistics, accommodation, and meals will be covered as per the standard Marathon Tours & Travel support crew package.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

5.1 Entries will be reviewed by a judging panel comprising of representatives from Marathon Tours & Travel, media, and brand partners.
5.2 The winner will be selected based on creativity, energy, originality, and alignment with the campaign ethos.
5.3 The winner will be contacted via DM on the platform used to enter, and must respond within seven (7) days to claim the prize.
5.4 If the selected winner does not respond in time or declines the prize, an alternative winner may be selected.

6. General Conditions

6.1 By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6.2 Entrants must hold a valid passport and be physically capable of completing the trip, including travel to Antarctica.
6.3 By submitting a video, entrants grant Marathon Tours & Travel permission to use the content across its marketing and promotional channels.
6.4 Marathon Tours & Travel reserves the right to disqualify entries that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or not aligned with the campaign values.
6.5 Marathon Tours & Travel may cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. Privacy

7.1 Personal data collected as part of this campaign will be used solely for the administration of the competition and in accordance with the Marathon Tours & Travel Privacy Policy.
