      Friday, April 2- Arrival Day

      Arrive in Milan and transfer on your own by train, taxi or shuttle to our hotel.

      Your Marathon Tours & Travel host will be available at the hotel on arrival. This afternoon, if you arrive early enough you can visit the Milan Marathon 2027 Expo to pick up your race bib and packet.

      Tonight at around 18:00, meet your MTT host and fellow runners in the hotel bar for a welcome drink – first one’s on us!

      Then, you are free to discover some of Milan’s culinary pleasures under your own steam. There are many amazing restaurants close to the hotel.

      Saturday, April 3- Expo, Registration and Pre-Race Dinner

      This morning at around 07:30, we will gather in the hotel lobby before departing for an easy 5km shakeout run!

      After breakfast at the hotel, today is all yours to enjoy the city and to prepare for the marathon tomorrow.

      If you did not manage to pick up your bib yesterday, your MTT host will be doing an escorted trip to the Expo this morning.

      Tonight, join your fellow runners for a pre-race dinner.

      Sunday, April 4- Wizz Air Milano Marathon

      Breakfast will be available early.

      Your MTT host will escort you to the start area which is just a 15-minute walk away, leaving plenty of extra time for you to make your way through the crowds and to find your specific start pen. On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials, run and have fun!

      Upon finishing your race, you can make your way back to the hotel for a free afternoon.

      This evening meet your Marathon Tours & Travel host, fellow runners and supporters for a post-race celebration and drink!

      Course: The Milan Marathon is the fastest marathon in Italy and one of the fastest on the international scene and the fastest in the world in 2021; every year, countless participants achieve their personal best in Milan.
      Runners pass some of Milan’s most recognisable locations, including the majestic Duomo, the historic Sforza Castle and the vibrant Navigli district. From elegant city-center boulevards to contemporary neighborhoods and lively spectator zones, the Milan Marathon offers a memorable tour of Italy’s fashion and cultural capital.

      Temperature: Held in early spring, the Milan Marathon typically offers cool race-morning temperatures and comfortable conditions throughout the day. Average temperatures range from 8-12°C (46–54°F) at the start and warm to around 16–19°C (61–66°F) by the afternoon, creating excellent conditions for both first-time marathoners and runners pursuing a personal best.

      Entry fee: $130

      Eligibility: Non-competitive runners do not require a medical certificate. The race time will not be displayed in the general leader board but will rather only be available next to the athlete’s name, in alphabetical order, in a separate result table and the athlete will not be able to receive any prizes. Waiver instructions will be provided when runners register.

      Time limit: The course time limit for the marathon is six (6) hours and 30 minutes. Streets are open to traffic and pedestrians in the late stages of the race.

      Number pick-up: Participants must personally pick up bib numbers and race packets. More details will shared as soon as they are available.

      When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.

      Security Policy

      Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.

      Race Rules

      Our itinerary and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organizers have confirmed final instructions. All race rules and procedures need to be followed.

      Starting Pens and Bib Numbers

      Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Milan Marathon 2027, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers. After purchasing your race entry with us, you will be sent a link to complete the registration process. Please do not expect it immediately after booking – it will be sent when Milan Marathon sends the links to us. The race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information you provide.

    • You can use this event to qualify for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championships (AGWC). If you secure a place, we invite you to book our official travel package and share the championship experience with other Age Groupers here.

Throughout her career, she has designed custom itineraries, developed loyalty programs, and managed international events for groups of up to 2,000 travelers. She brings deep expertise in European destinations, particularly Eastern Europe as well as the United Kingdom and France.

An avid traveler, Emily has visited nearly 40 countries and enjoys connecting with clients to create memorable experiences and bring exceptional events to life. She is also a runner, having completed several half-marathons as well as the Ragnar Reach the Beach 200-mile relay race. Outside of work, Emily loves spending time with her husband and daughter exploring New England, especially her home state of Maine.
