The 33rd Edition of the Paris Half Marathon – also known as The Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris attracts over 48,000+ entries. This is a lively, inclusive, and exciting race providing first time or long-term participants with an unforgettable experience.    

Traditionally, La Place de la Bastille is at the heart of the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris. The start and finish area are in the city center of Paris, making your Paris Half Marathon experience easily accessible. It is an excellent way to immerse oneself into the personality of Paris and achieve a half marathon personal best time (PB) all while enjoying the surrounding festivities! Trusted by the event organizers as a Diamond Graded Official Tour Operator of the Paris Half Marathon 2025, Marathon Tours & Travel can offer you guaranteed entry.  

Our curated package includes accommodation at a 4* hotel within walking distance to and from La Place de la Bastille – placing participants near the main tourist attractions of Paris and the race route. We invite you to take part in our shake-out run, pre-race pasta dinner, and post-race celebration. Your Marathon Tours & Travel team will be on hand for guidance and support to make your trip Très Magnifique!

      Make your own arrangements to arrive at Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon today. Usually, the hotel rooms are ready to check in after 2:00PM. If you arrive earlier, your luggage can be stored at the hotel while you explore your surroundings. You are free to enjoy the city at your leisure.  

      MTT hosts will be available in your hotel today to meet and answer any questions you might have. At 5:30PM we invite you to join your Marathon Tours & Travel host and your running peers for an easy shake-out run from the hotel. It will acquaint you with the local area and relieve any travel fatigue. The run will be easy and at a comfortable pace for all fitness levels.  

      Afterwards, please join us for a drink – a perfect opportunity to ask questions and network with your fellow runners.

      Enjoy the city at your leisure. If you booked your race entry with us, we will collect your race pack (including bag, t-shirt, and race bib) and hand it to you at the hotel today. If you obtained your own race entry, you will be required to make your own way to the Expo to collect your race pack. 

      The rest of the day is at your leisure. The MTT team will be happy to suggest some sightseeing options. 

      Often restaurants are booked up early, but you do not need to worry about finding somewhere to carb-load this evening as you join the MTT team for a delicious and nutritious pre-race dinner. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

      Breakfast will be available early. Those running the Paris Half Marathon 2025 will have an easy walk to the start from Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon (approximately a 20-minute walk from the hotel). On arrival at the start, please follow the instructions of the race officials, run, and have fun! 

      The 1km and 18km spectator areas of the Paris Half Marathon 2025 route are less than a 10-minute walk away from Hotel Mercure Gare de Lyon and the finish area is 15 minutes away – perfectly positioned for race day and to cheer on the runners. (Please Note: At the time of publishing, the route is TBC – if any changes occur, our hotel’s location is still accessible.) 

      After the race, make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, and celebrate…you deserve it! 

      Tonight, we will gather in the hotel bar for a post-race celebration and drink!

      The Hotel Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon is the ideal location for your stay in Paris. Next to the Gare de Lyon gives you access to many areas of Paris by public transport. RER A takes you directly to the Arc de Triomphe, La Défense and Disneyland Paris, while the metro takes you to Notre-Dame, the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées. Near the hotel you can find the Marais, the banks of the Seine, Saint Germain-des-prés, République, Bastille, the Coulée Verte and also the botanical garden. The rooms are comfortably furnished with the usual amenities you would expect from a 4* hotel such as air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, bar, breakfast restaurant and fitness center.

    • Race Date: Sunday, March 9, 2025

      Race Time: From 08:30 AM (TBC)

      Course (TBC): The start and finish area of the Paris Half Marathon 2025 is near the Place de la Bastille. The race will start on the Boulevard Henri IV, continuing through the streets of Paris. Between 5km and 15km, the course passes through the beautiful Bois de Vincennes Park, and the remaining 6km follows the Seine to finish on Rue de Lyon.       Medical Certificate: All runners are required to provide a medical certificate (this is a legal requirement for taking part in running events in France) stating that there is no medical indication that they cannot take part in a competitive running event. Medical certificates must be uploaded to the runner’s personal account before the event. Only if medical certificates have been uploaded to the runner’s account, can we collect and deliver entries to the hotel. If your medical certificate has been refused or if you didn’t upload it, you will have to print and bring it at the bib collection (it must be dated less than a year prior the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athleticism in competition » or « sport in competition »). To avoid mistakes we advise you to use this certificate template.

      Time Limit: The course time limit is two and a half hours. (to be confirmed)

      Entry Fee: As a Diamond Tour Operator, MTT has a special guaranteed race entry fee of $75.00. Entry only is not available.

      Eligibility: To take part in this event, the participant must be aged at least 18 years old on 31 December 2025. 

      NEW: No medical certificate will be required in 2025 for foreign participants. The medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is mandatory in order to collect your race number.       Temperature: Average temperatures on race day are between 40 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative t-shirt and upon finishing receive a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

      Difficulty: Easy. The route is flat.

  • Registration & Booking

    • Rates: All prices are based on current exchange rates and may change due to currency fluctuations. Pricing is listed per person. Airfares are constantly changing and we can quote you by phone the best available rates and most convenient flights for these packages.

      Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $300 per person must be received before confirming your reservations. Final payment is due on or before January 1, 2025. Final payments received after January 1 will be charged a $50 late payment fee.

      Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.

      Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under package features. Entry fee is additional.

      Insurance: For your protection, trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is highly recommended for all participants. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.

      Security Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.

      Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.

MaryKate joined the Marathon Tours & Travel team after receiving her B.A. in Sport Leadership & Administration from UMass Boston. Prior to completing her degree, MaryKate spent five years as a stewardess in the private yachting industry where she developed strong skills in customer service, travel logistics, and cultural immersion while exploring the world on the high seas. These remarkable years fueled her passion for travel and led her to a new hobby: marathon running. MaryKate has completed multiple marathons including Boston (2022) and Chicago (2023) as well as a variety of ultramarathons including the Comrades Marathon (Back to Back finisher 2018-2019). She also enjoys playing tennis, skiing, swimming, and searching for the best cup of coffee in town. She is excited to bring the knowledge she has gained from these experiences to the team where she will assist in cultivating many unforgettable trips.
