The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris offers a unique opportunity to run through historic landmarks of Paris. The race will take you through some of the capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. It starts on the Champs Elysees and takes you by the Louvre, Place de la Bastille, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and you’ll finish near the Arc de Triomphe. This iconic race now draws more than 50,000 runners, including over 23,000 international runners from around the world.

Enjoy a free day to explore Paris on your own – get a bird’s eye view of the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower, admire the impressive art collection in the Louvre, or stroll the Seine with a croissant in hand! In the evening, join your MTT team for a pre-race pasta dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast and dinner included)

Race Day! Your hotel is conveniently located just a short walking distance to the start/finish area. Your MTT hosts will be on hand to provide directions and offer final words of encouragement. There’s no better way to celebrate your marathon finish than with the highly recommended Full Day Tour to Champagne (see “Extensions” for more info). Optional Full Day Tour To Champagne | Monday, April 14, 2025
Join us for a full day tour of the Champagne region to finish your Paris Marathon trip with a pop!
Our day will begin in Aÿ-Champagne with a visit to the Pressoria Interactive Museum where your senses will be taken on a journey through the history of the region. You can watch, touch, smell, listen, and taste the wine of Kings on this immersive tour.
Next stop is a local vineyard in a Premier Cru village near Epernay, where several prestigious Champagne Houses settled during the 19th century. You will be treated to a guided tour and brasero lunch before heading into town for a stroll of the iconic Avenue de Champagne. With its Champagne Houses and private mansions, this straight road of more than a kilometer is lined with buildings mainly dating back to the end of the 19th century; many call it “the most expensive street of the world”, as millions of champagne bottles sleep underneath the buildings.
After admiring the private mansions and large trading houses, we will visit the Pommery Champagne House, a magnificent Elizabethan complex built by the widow Pommery in the middle of the 19th century. We will raise our glasses to a magnificent day in the Champagne region before heading back to Paris. (Lunch included)

Race Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
Start Times: From 08:15am to 10:50am (TBC)
Course: Runners will run through many of the city’s famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, where the race starts, towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli runners will sweep through the Place de la Bastille. After a glimpse of greenery in the Bois de Vincennes, views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower come into view. Temperature: Average temperatures range between 50F and 63F.
Entry Fee: As a Diamond Tour Operator, MTT has a special guaranteed race entry fee of $170.00. Entry only is not available.
Starting Times and Bib Numbers: Closer to the event, we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2025. Once you have finalized the registration process, the race organizers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided. MTT has no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.
Eligibility: All runners must be at least 21 years of age.
NEW: No medical certificate will be required in 2025 for foreign participants. The medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is mandatory in order to collect your race number.
Time Limit: The course time limit is six hours from the last participant crossing the start line.
Number Pickup: You will need to pick-up your race bib at the Salon du Running (Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles) from Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, April 12. Learn more here. More than 200 exhibitors will be at the Expo and the times are HERE .
Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative finisher t-shirt and upon finishing receives a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

Rates: All prices are based on current exchange rates and may change due to currency fluctuations. Pricing is listed per person. Airfares are constantly changing and we can quote you by phone the best available rates and most convenient flights for these packages.
Reservations and Payments: A completed tour application together with an initial deposit of $500 per person must be received before confirming your reservations. Final payment is due on or before February 1, 2025. Final payments received after February 1 will be charged a $50 late payment fee.
Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.
Not included in price: All items not specifically listed under package features. Entry fee is additional.
Insurance: For your protection, trip cancellation, baggage, health and accident insurance is highly recommended for all participants. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance.

Travel Insurance for Canadian ResidentsSecurity Policy: Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Responsibility: These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.

Patrick joined the Marathon Tours & Travel team after receiving his Master of Business Administration degree from Grand Canyon University. While earning his degree, he spent a year in the Harvard University athletic department working in marketing and fan engagement. Born and raised in New Jersey, Patrick also spent time working in the athletic departments of both Princeton and Monmouth University in similar roles. Patrick is a graduate of William Paterson University of New Jersey with a B.A. in Sport Management and Business Administration and has a passion for both running and sports alike. He hopes to combine his passion of travel and running with his business acumen to create incredible experiences for runners around the world.
