TCS London Marathon
If you have questions regarding Marathon Tours & Travel’s London Packages please: EMAIL OUR TRIP DESIGNER or CALL 617-242-7845
The TCS London Marathon has become one of the most sought after Abbott World Marathon Majors races. Known for its flat scenic course, world-class competition and excellent organization, this gem of a marathon will have you feeling like royalty when you cross the finish line on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. IMPORTANT: The best way to earn a spot with Marathon Tours & Travel is to become a Seven Continents Club® Member, which serves also as our VIP Loyalty Program. We have a proven, effective and fair process in which we allocate our packages with a guaranteed entry. You can review the process here.
The first London Marathon was held on March 29, 1981 and more than 20,000 applied to run. From this pool only 6,747 were accepted and 6,255 crossed the finish line on Constitution Hill. Seeing an opportunity to create a unique running experience for our clients, Marathon Tours & Travel immediately established a relationship with the London Marathon team and hosted our first trip in 1982. Entering our 44th year supporting London we are pleased to continue to be the official North American travel agency, which allows us to offer you a guaranteed entry in conjunction with our four-night package.
Our Deluxe Package provides you with hotel options, a welcome reception, an optional guided tour of Windsor Castle, guided London City Tour with a stop at the TCS London Marathon Expo, pre-race dinner and post -race celebration. The hotels we select are within a short walking distance from the finish, as well as iconic places such as Hyde Park, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, and the Houses of Parliament.
The SCC application period for our 2025 London Marathon Packages with a guaranteed entry, will open on Tuesday, June 4 at 12:00PM EST and run through Tuesday, June 11 at 5:00PM. Confirmations are not on a first-come, first-serve basis. When SCC members submit their application between these dates, we prioritize first by SCC Tier and then by join date. You can learn more about the process here. The non-SCC application period will open that Friday, June 14 at 12:00PM EST and run through June 21 at 5:00PM. Non-member package acceptance will be based on a random selection process. Confirmations will start to be sent the second week of July.
Entry of overseas runners is strictly limited according to a system devised by the London Marathon Committee. The field is restricted, so unfortunately many are turned away. We are limited in the number of guaranteed entries and do our best to provide a fair reservation process.
The TCS London Marathon is an AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel World Age Group Qualifying Race.
