The United Airlines NYC Half is a very popular half marathon. Starting in Brooklyn, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and through Times Square, Manhattan before finishing in Central Park, the United Airlines NYC Half takes you on a wonderful journey through the closed New York City streets.
Attracting more than 24,000 runners from across the globe demand for places is high but as official tour operator for this event you do not need to wait or worry about the lottery process, instead we can guarantee your place on a first-come, first-served basis.
Marathon Tours & Travel offer a three-night package staying at deluxe accommodation, located in the heart of Manhattan and within easy reach of the course. Extra nights can be added. As part of our expertly created packages, we include invitations for you to take part in activities such as escorted race number pick-up, pasta dinner, escorted journey to race start, post-race celebrations and the Marathon Tours & Travel team will be on hand for guidance and support to help make your trip a fun, enjoyable and successful time.

Meet your MTT team at the Hospitality Desk in the hotel lobby. Guests will then be escorted to the Marathon Expo for bib collection. Enjoy a pre-race pasta dinner buffet at a local restaurant, providing the perfect opportunity to relax, connect with fellow travelers, and fuel up for race day.(Pasta dinner included)Â
Sunday, March 21
This will be an early morning with an MTT escort to official race day transportation to the start where you will warmup in the VIP area with light breakfast and private restrooms. The United Airlines NYC Half starts in Brooklyn and passes through famous landmarks such as the Manhattan Bridge, Times Square, and Grand Central Station, before finishing at Central Park in Manhattan. Following the race, make your way back on your own to the hotel (approximately a 10-minute walk). Enjoy some well-deserved rest before we gather for a celebratory toast in the hotel lobby bar.(Post-race drink included)Â

Race Day: March 21, 2027
Race Time: From 7:00am in waves
The Course: Runners will begin their journey on Prospect Park’s Center Drive in Brooklyn before taking the race onto Brooklyn’s streets. The course will take runners over the Manhattan Bridge and up the FDR Drive before a crosstown dash on 42nd Street and a turn north on 7th Avenue, through Times Square, and into Central Park.
Minimum Pace/Cut-off Time Policy: The United Airlines NYC Half finish line will close at 1:30 p.m., approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes after the final participant crosses the start line.
Eligibility:Â Marathon Tours & Travel, an authorized tour operator, is required to offer travel arrangements in conjunction with guaranteed race entry. All runners must be 16 years or older on race day to be eligible for our guaranteed entries.
Number Pickup: You must pick up your race bib and packet at the Registration & Expo prior to race day.
Temperature:Â Average temperatures range between 46F to 60F (8C to 16C).
Awards: Every finisher receives a T-Shirt & Medal.

Reservations and Payments:
A completed reservation together with a deposit of 30% of the package price plus 100% of the entry price must be received at time of booking. The second installment of 30% will be automatically charged to the card on file on November 21, 2026. The final balance will be automatically charged to the card on file on January 21, 2027.
Cancellations: All payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Non-transferrable includes applying your balance to another person, another year or another trip. Should you cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your trip investment. Therefore, travel insurance for every trip is highly recommended. All cancellations must be received in writing.
Not included in price:Â All items not specifically listed under tour features. Entry fees are additional. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Insurance: Travel Insurance may offer protection for covered events if your plans do not go as expected. Travel insurance plans are available through Travel Guard. A Travel Guard Travel Insurance Plan can help cover your trip investment, reimburse certain expenses from travel disruption and provide you with emergency travel assistance. Travel Insurance for Canadian ResidentsSecurity Policy:  Marathon Tours & Travel’s security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and /or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
Responsibility:Â These tours are operated by Marathon Tours, Inc. of Chelsea, MA who acts only as an agent for the passenger to the companies offering such services and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity caused by any reason whatsoever by any party offering such services. All terms and conditions offered are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure with a refund, less applicable credit card and processing fees, made as full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved by Marathon Tours, Inc. to deny acceptance of a booking application by any person. Marathon Tours, Inc. may make any changes or alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary for the proper handling of the tour. The sole responsibility of any airline used is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their aircraft.
