Marathon Tours & Travel is proud to be the Official Travel Agency for the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS. In 2025, the TCS Sydney Marathon made history by becoming the seventh race to join the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) series. This milestone places Sydney among the world’s most elite marathon destinations.
Our TCS Sydney Marathon Official AbbottWMM Package is available to anyone who already secured their own entry. This special package includes hotel accommodations at the W Hotel, social activities, a half-day city tour, and the support of Marathon Tours & Travel staff in Sydney.
Picture the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House, its iconic sails gleaming against the skyline, and the majestic steel arch of the Harbour Bridge. Imagine the sparkling blue waters of Sydney Harbour and the golden sands of Bondi Beach. These unforgettable sights draw visitors from around the globe, and once here, they discover a vibrant, multicultural city rich in its passion for the arts and sports.
As the only remaining legacy event from the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, the TCS Sydney Marathon offers runners a truly unique experience. The course showcases Sydney’s most iconic landmarks and gives participants the rare opportunity to cross the Harbour Bridge completely traffic-free.
The marathon has been awarded the prestigious top honor of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Road Race Gold Label status – recognizing the event alongside household names of marathons such as London, Boston and New York.
The TCS Sydney Marathon is an AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel World Age Group Qualifying Race.
