Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) has created travel packages specifically for those who have been selected in the AbbottWMM drawing or for those who have secured their own entry and are on the Six Star and/or Nine Star Journey. Each package includes ideally situated hotels nearby to the start and/or finish, social activities, on-site assistance by the Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) Team, and a stress-free, top-notch experience. OVERVIEW

Marathon Tours & Travel is the first Official Travel Agency and Tour Operator for the Abbott World Marathon Majors. We are thrilled to expand our reach to help even more runners achieve their goals. Our packages are designed with the runner and their travel companions in mind.

HISTORY

Founded by Boston runner and travel visionary Thom Gilligan in 1979, MTT is a longstanding recognized leader and innovator in the destination travel industry for runners and their supporters. With some of our earliest trips being to the New York City Marathon and Boston Marathon, we have decades of experience working with some of the largest marathon events in the world.

Expanding to better meet client needs, MTT is now truly a global running travel company with offices in Boston (USA), Manchester (UK), Adelaide (Australia), and Shanghai (China). We host a variety of our own events and are an approved International Tour Operator to many marathons and other running events, including the AbbottWMM races.

SEVEN CONTINENTS CLUB®

The Seven Continents Club® (SCC), founded in 1995 with the creation of our inaugural Antarctica Marathon®, started with the aim to help those interested in running a marathon on each of the seven continents accomplish their goal. Now with over 12,400 members from 109 countries, the SCC has evolved to become a VIP global frequent traveler club for runners that have a passion for traveling to the top destination running events around the globe. One of the many benefits of the SCC is the early registration period for events that are in high demand, such as the AbbottWMM races.
